Why is it that our youth in the LGBTQ community feel they have to die to be free? The answer has come from every spectrum of the galaxy. When we as the Older generation of the LGBTQ community needs to get involved and let every one know we are over this form of vilianty reform. We need to repeat the Stonewall days and take action. We are a force to be reconed with when we srt our minds to it. We need to srt our minds to it that the only way this is going to changr is when we strp up and slam down our foot. We have lost at least twelve teens inthe last three weeks that is known of.We can't let this keep happening we must do more than hide behind our computers and do a "it gets better" videoes.
We need to take action and show these LGBTQ teens we are here and we are standing with them for them to be able to go to school free of abuse, and free of thinking they will be retaliated against! So I ask you to step into the schools around where you live, work, and play and get involved with making it a safer place for all. I'm not asking that we rage a war on our schools but we need to step up and show these kids that it does get better but it does not happen without education, understanding, and love. We need to start helping teach the students, teachers, and administration about how to handle this and offer some ensights from outside sources. I'm scared for these kids because at one time I was one of them and understand what they are going through.
So please step out and get involved in your community and help even one teen you've made a differance and that teen will inturn help some one else so now your impacted not one but two lives and maybe even more.
