To think that Dr. King fought so hard for freedom and desegregation and years after his death, we still have separation of not by skin color but by whom we choose to fall in love with. I feel he would roll over in his grave to think of people still being treated like they are a second rate citizen because they are stepping out and not hiding who they love. To think that this country was founded upon the foundation of starting over without persecution or conviction of being who we are. I know you judging people are going to use “PROSPER”. For you people I have this to say we are not prospering because your type of people are still making citizens of this country be pushed down and unable to prosper because they are having to fight for their right to be who they truly are. This intern is a modern form of slavery and in case you have not sat and taken into consideration of this piece of information you might want to.
In this modern time we should not be worrying about the person next door and who they are sleeping with you should be worrying more about how we can fix our economy, homelessness, finding cures for diseases that is wiping out our citizens here and abroad, and better preparing our young people that will be running this country and our environment. We are spending too much time, money, and worthy energy on things that should have been handled on the playground now it’s time to worry about the future of our country and the world.
