Join us outside Harvey Milk’s former camera store at 575 Castro Street, on Saturday, December 18, from 12 noon-2pm.

  • PROTEST HRC for moving into Harvey Milk's camera store.
  • Protest the Sit/Lie law that would allow police to round-up homeless LGBTQ youth and put them in jail cells.

WHY?

  • HRC has a long history of excluding the transgender, youth, and poor segments of our community
  • HRC endorses republicans and conservatives that fight against better laws for women, the climate, and beyond
  • Sit/Lie, supported by HRC awardee Scott Wiener, would round up homeless people or anyone sitting or lying on the sidewalk (unconstitutional and inhumane!)

This is great Mark. Hope someone has a video of the protest. Just another extension of HRC which queers everywhere should be protesting. Our youth are on those sidewalks. Keep the pressure on HRC. Can we at Queers Without Borders and A Few Queers On The Prowl endorse this and say we wish we were there with our bull horn.

Love to all
