Wow, Lance Black. Wow. You should have known better than to denounce HRC in cooperation with the Log Cabin Republicans (If that is what you did, the Advocate's spotty reporting makes it unclear!) You do realize that the HRC sponsored their dinners before, right? You do realize HRC endorses the same Republicans and conservatives (Susan Collins, Joe Lieberman, and others) that fought against and/or held up progress on health care, international peace, womens' rights, and a host of other social justice causes right?

What a sham you and the Log Cabin Republicans (a media favorite but tiny irrelevant group) are.

The reason HRC doesn't belong anywhere near Harvey Milk's old Camera shop is because HRC has never prioritized the issues of social justice that mattered so much to Harvey: workers' rights, queer youth, and transgender rights to name a few.
