I'm a twenty-something queer. (I guess this is not a very creative answer.) I'm also an artist and ad-hoc educator.
Activism & Interests?
I give Trans 101 presentations. I paint pictures of trees, drag queens, and people with words pasted over their eyes. I work at a bike shop but I'm not a bike punk (or any kind of punk). I'm interested in healthcare access, environmental sustainability, making gender a voluntary system (i.e., not compulsory), making education voluntary (and useful and affordable), abolishing prisons, and ending rape. If you want to know the truth, I'm also interested in ending racism, sexism, capitalism, militarism, child abuse . . . I could go on. I'll add "avoiding burnout" to my list of interests.

you sound cool. I'm thinking of starting a list for trans activism that would be national. Many be something where we could focus on fenderal issues such as ENDA, building a stronger trans lobby and taking on trans phobis in LGBT communities-- I for one am tired of the T being written in disappearing ink. Maybe a group where we could also share our local struggles. The group would be open to trans and to allies. Anyhow, would such a group be useful for you in the work you do and would you be interested in joinign if I create such a group?
